NCCP Community Coaching Clinic – Sunday, March 4

The Vancouver Ultimate League is hosting a NCCP Community Coach Certification Training session this coming Sunday, March 4th from 9:00am-4:00pm at Stratford Hall. Registration is $60. Complete details can be found on the VUL website: https://www.vul.ca/content/coaching-conference

Victoria Competitive Coaching Clinic – January 27-28, 2018

Are you interested in coaching U18 or adult developmental team programs? The Victoria Ultimate Players Society is putting on a competitive coaching clinic on January 27-28, 2018.

Participants will understand learning styles and appropriate feedback through hands on activities. They will learn how to identify and correct common Ultimate errors, and how to lead drills for Ultimate.

What you’ll learn:

  • What a Competition Coach should know (Rules, SOTG)
  • Defining Learning & Understanding Learning Styles
  • Key factors in assessessing the effectiveness of coaches
  • Components of effective learning using Ultimate skills
  • Different approaches to teaching skills
  • Running an Ultimate specific drill, and planning a new activity

When: January 27 and 28, 2018 from 9:00am-4:30pm

Where: Central Middle School, Victoria BC
