Overview

BC Ultimate is proud to announce that ultimate has been accepted into the 2024 BC Summer Games, to be hosted in Maple Ridge BC from July 18-21, 2024. This is will be the first time in Canada our sport has participated in any Provincial Games. The ultimate program will consist of 8 teams, one from each of the 8 BC Games Zones. The event will play in the Mixed 7×7 format, which each team having 12 players. Eligible athletes are born in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Coach Selection

Zone Coordinators are responsible for selecting the coaching staff for their zone team. The coaching staff will consist of a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach. Coaching Staffs should be made up of one women-matching and one man-matching coach.

Athlete Selection

Once the Coaching Staff has been selected for each Zone, the Zone Coordinators and Coaches will work on promoting the BC Summer Games opportunities to eligible athletes in each zone. Tryouts will be organized between April 1 and May 15th, 2024, with final team selections made by May 31, 2024.

More information will be posted on this page once the athlete promotion and tryout organization begins to take shape in early 2024.
