NextGen is Ultimate Canada’s official youth development program. It gives U17 and U20 athletes from across the country a first international experience, culminating at the 2027 Pan American Youth Ultimate Championships (PAYUC) in Bogotá, Colombia, July 22–25, 2027.
The Player Application for the Western Canadian U20 and U17 teams is now open and can be accessed at the link below. Player applications are due by Nov 20th, 2026. BC will select between 10 and 14 players, split between each Gender Match, for each of the 2 teams (U17 and U20). Applications will be reviewed by the BCU Youth Committee, with input from the Head Coaches of both teams, with final decisions made by BCU.
