2016 4×4 Richmond Mixed Indoor Beach Championship

2016 Vancouver 4×4 Mixed Indoor Beach Championship

Ring in the new year with a day of 4×4 Beach Ultimate! BC Ultimate will hold this single-day and highly-popular event at Richmond’s 6 Pack Beach Facility on January 2, 2016.

The event is a Mixed 4×4 event, with a 2M/2F player ratio. All normal beach rules will apply. The event will feature Recreational and Competitive divisions. VC Ultimate will also be on-hand with their top-notch merchandise.

The Recreational division will play from 9:00am through to mid-afternoon, with Competitive teams playing from mid-afternoon to 11:00pm.

In addition to a great event, teams in the Competitive division will be competing to qualify for the Ultimate Canada 4×4 Indoor Ultimate Championships. The winning team in the Competitive division will be offered BC’s first bid to this event, taking place March 19-20, 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario.

This event has filled up to capacity every year, so register early to ensure your spot!

Stratford Hall Summer Ultimate Camp

The camp is open to students entering grades 9-12. The camp will run the last week of August, Monday August 31th to Friday September 4 at Trout Lake Park. The camp will start at 9 am and run until 3 pm. All students registered for the camp will receive a free disc and a reversible jersey.

The grade 9-12 camp will be for the more experienced older players. During the camp students will learn advanced throwing techniques, refine cutting footwork and positioning, advanced offensive and defensive strategies. Students will have opportunities to apply the skills they have learned during daily games.

The camp is $200 for the week and will be held at Trout Lake Northwest grass field near corner of east 14th Ave and Victoria Drive.
