Join the viaSport Leadership Team – applications are open!

viaSport is opening our doors for new members of leadership, apply for the viaSport Board of Directors, newly formed Sport Leadership Committee or Chief Executive Officer:

viaSport is looking for passionate leaders who share our belief that sport is a powerful agent of change for ourselves, our families and our communities. We’re calling for sport advocates and leaders from both within and outside of our sector by launching a widespread recruitment process to support the needs of our evolving organization.

Successful applicants are:

• Passionate about sport, believing in the benefits sport brings to a community and our province
• Influential in sport, media, technology, business, health, recreation, community development or education
• A forward-thinker, innovator and open to possibilities
• Ability to bring different perspectives to the sector
• Ability to bring new energy and ideas and is willing to drive change and lead the sector
• Exceptional at building relationships and partnerships
• Leaders will bring their voice to the public table and help us continue the momentum in building a unified, efficient BC sport sector, shaping and implementing fundamental changes to how sport is planned and delivered. Be part of BC’s history by helping us change the game for sport.
