From May 23 to May 26 over 90 High School teams competed in two separate events to wrap up the 2024 BC High School Ultimate Season.
BC School Sports – Senior Provincials
On May 23/24 in Kamloops 16 AA and 16 AAA teams squared off for the Provincial titles in those two divisions. This was the first time Provincials was held outside of the Lower Mainland and the event was met with excitement and enthusiasm from all who attended. The diversity of the sport was on full display with the teams on the podium, and Spirit of the Game winners, who came from four different regions and 8 different municipalities:

1st: Surrey Christian (Surrey)
2nd: Chatelech (Gibsons)
3rd: Grand Forks (Grand Forks)
SOTG: St. John’s School (Vancouver)
AAA
1st: Handsworth (North Vancouver)
2nd: South Kamloops (Kamloops)
3rd: Burnaby Mountain (Burnaby)
SOTG: Dover Bay (Nanaimo)
BC Ultimate Senior Invite / Junior Championships
Over the May 25/26 weekend another 32 Senior teams competed in the annual BCU Senior Invite tournament, an opportunity for schools who don’t qualify for Provincials to have a season ending event. In addition the top Junior teams from around the province competed for the BC Junior HS Championships in both Junior Tier 1 and Junior Tier 2 divisions. Again, the results showed the breath of the sport across the province.
