Join the BC Ultimate Team – Communications and Social Media Coordinator

BC Ultimate is looking to expand our staff by adding a Communications and Social Media Coordinator. The Communication and Social Media Coordinator will work with the General Manager and Program Manager for Ultimate Spirit to facilitate communications to internal and external stakeholders, along with managing BCU Social Media channels while developing new areas for communication and promotion.

2025 Pan American Youth Ultimate Championships

Ultimate Canada will be sending 2 Western Canadian Teams (U17 and U20) to the 2025 Pan American Youth Ultimate Championships. PAYUC takes place July 17-20 in San Jose, Costa Rica.
BC has been allocated 10 athletes, 5 Female Matching and 5 Male Matching players for each team, for a total of 20 BC athlete spots. We also expect to select several alternates for each team. Players will be selected by BCU based on player applications and references.
Interested athletes may fill out this Player Application Form to express interested in this unique playing opportunity. Player applications are due March 9th, player selections will be made before the end of March.

2025 BC Ultimate Coaching Conference

BC Ultimate is happy to open the registration for the 2025 BCU Coaching Conference. This year’s conference will take place on March 1st (9:00am to 5:00pm) and 2nd (9:00am to 1:00pm) at St. Thomas More Collegiate (7450 12th Avenue, Burnaby BC).

The Coaching Conference gives Coaches, Players and Organizers a chance to gather to discuss the upcoming season, as well as attend various presentations on a variety of topics. The final agenda is still coming together, but current plans include:

  • Moving from Player to Coach
  • Injury prevention for ultimate players
  • Challenges of Coaching
  • Strength and Conditioning for Girls and Women in Sport
  • Building successful High School / Junior Club Programs
  • Creating a Team Culture
  • …and more
