On December 3rd, 2020, the Provincial Health Officer provided further updates and clarifications on restrictions for Sport across the province following the November 19th Provincial Health Order. These updates impact ultimate, and all BCU member organizations should be familiar with this information.
These updates are effective immediately and will be in place until at least midnight on February 5th, 2021. This post will be updated as more information is available.
The full list of restrictions can be viewed HERE.
Following the Provincial Health Order, updates for sport were published HERE. These updates include clarifications for the age of sport participants, high-performance athletes, travel and varsity sports.
BC Ultimate strongly suggests that member organizations suspend all operations. With vaccine distribution now underway we are moving closer to the end of this health crisis, but we are not yet at the end of the tunnel. The disc sport community should do our part to keep everyone in BC healthy and safe. If you have any questions you can contact BCU Ultimate.
