BCUC registration due June 15 – Adult and Junior division forms now online

Planning on participating at the 2014 BC Ultimate Championships or competing at Canadian Nationals in Waterloo this August?

This is a reminder that the registration deadline for both adult and junior divisions is Sunday, June 15th. Teams intending to compete at Regionals and/or Nationals must complete the online registration form through Ultimate Canada’s website.

To register, please go to the registration links below, according to your division – be advised that you must fill out the form AND register your team on Ultimate Canada’s website by June 15:

  • Cost: $250 for Regionals tournament (separate from $500 deposit cheque for CUC)
  • When: July 19-20

Ultimate in the News: Vancouver Courier article on 2014 BJUC

Vancouver Courier article BJUCThe largest-ever BC Junior Ultimate Championships were held at the University of British Columbia last weekend, with Sutherland (North Vancouver) edging St. George’s/York House 15-14 for the senior Tier 1 title, and Stratford Hall (Vancouver) defeating Point Grey for the junior championship.

VUL Junior Summer League registration opens May 26

The Vancouver Ultimate League – one of the largest adult sports leagues in the world – is offering its Juniors Summer League again for players aged 18 and under.  Registration opens on Monday, May 26th and runs until June 9th.

VUL Juniors Summer League

  • What – Standard VUL co-ed league format, with two games per week running from June to the end of July.
  • Who – Open to all junior players (18 and under) and all skill levels. Most players are 14 and older.
  • When -Games begin at 6:00pm and 7:30pm, with all players ending their night of games or clinics at 8:45pm.
  • Where – Central fields in Vancouver. Exact locations TBD
  • Cost – $400 per team ($550 without a Chaperone); or $30 for Single, $50 for Duo, $80 for Trio. For Duo’s and Trio’s, at least one player must be female.  All prices include GST.
