Are you interested in coaching U18 or adult developmental team programs? The Victoria Ultimate Players Society is putting on a competitive coaching clinic on January 27-28, 2018.
Participants will understand learning styles and appropriate feedback through hands on activities. They will learn how to identify and correct common Ultimate errors, and how to lead drills for Ultimate.
What you’ll learn:
- What a Competition Coach should know (Rules, SOTG)
- Defining Learning & Understanding Learning Styles
- Key factors in assessessing the effectiveness of coaches
- Components of effective learning using Ultimate skills
- Different approaches to teaching skills
- Running an Ultimate specific drill, and planning a new activity

BC Ultimate is happy to announce that registration for our annual Indoor Beach tournament is now open! Sixteen teams in two divisions (recreational & competitive) will play at 6-Pack Beach in Richmond on January 6th for the title of BC Indoor Beach Champion! This year’s tournament will be held in a 2M, 2F mixed format.
The tournament fills up fast, so register your team ASAP to secure your spot!
Team registration is $425 per team – register and pay using the Eventbrite link.
***Please note*** GST is now being collected with fees, and with that change there is some additional information that Eventbrite collects from teams. Be sure to register as an AN INDIVIDUAL and not A BUSINESS (which is the default) to avoid having to enter a tax # you don’t have.

It’s that time of year again! The BC Ultimate Society invites all of its members to attend our AGM to review the year that was, vote in Board Directors, and connect with us to help shape the goals of the Society.

Time: Registration 12:30pm to 1:00pm (all members registered at the AGM will receive a complementary beverage ticket for the Vancouver Curling Club Bar)

The following special resolution will also be presented at the AGM:
- That the Constitution and Bylaws of the British Columbia Ultimate Society be replaced in their entirety with the attached Constitution and Bylaws.
- That any requirement for notice of this special resolution in advance of the annual general meeting be waived.
Board of Directors Elections
The BCU Board will have four (4) positions available on the the board. Board positions run for a two (2) year period. Our current list of nominees for elections this year consists of the following:

Members who cannot attend may vote by proxy: print and fill out a proxy form and give it to a registered member to vote on your behalf. Limit of one (1) proxy per member present.
