BCUS AGM 2017 – November 4

It’s that time of year again! The BC Ultimate Society invites all of its members to attend our AGM to review the year that was, vote in Board Directors, and connect with us to help shape the goals of the Society.

2017 BC Ultimate Society AGM

Date: November 4th, 2017
Time: Registration 12:30pm to 1:00pm (all members registered at the AGM will receive a complementary beverage ticket for the Vancouver Curling Club Bar)
AGM: 1:00pm-2:00pm
Post-AGM Reception: 2:00pm-3:00pm
Location: Vancouver Curling Club – Hillcrest Community Centre (4575 Clancy Loranger Way, Vancouver BC)

The following special resolution will also be presented at the AGM:

Special Resolution:

  • That the Constitution and Bylaws of the British Columbia Ultimate Society be replaced in their entirety with the attached Constitution and Bylaws.
  • That any requirement for notice of this special resolution in advance of the annual general meeting be waived.

 

 

Board of Directors Elections

The BCU Board will have four (4) positions available on the the board. Board positions run for a two (2) year period. Our current list of nominees for elections this year consists of the following:

  • Alex Davis
  • Kat Lee
  • Bridget Gilbride
  • Jennifer Kwok

Members who cannot attend may vote by proxy: print and fill out a proxy form and give it to a registered member to vote on your behalf. Limit of one (1) proxy per member present.

​Team Alpha will be focused on defending the program’s 2016 Provincial Championship and bringing gold back from the 2017 Canadian Ultimate Championships in Ottawa, Ontario this coming August.​
